Gimme Some Sugar 5 card kit

Have you ever lost your crafting mojo?  I recently did when trying to design for the Gimme Some Sugar workshop.  I had a class on Friday night and had no cards made just a few sketches on paper.  I was in a rut.  Thursday night I'm sitting down trying to design a 20 card workshop using my 1 Sheet wonder ideas.

Then it hit me, ideas started popping into my head.  So, here they are the 5 card designs that I created for my Gimme Some Sugar workshop.

My workshop ladies loved them.  So because of my rut, I'm going to be creating mail out kits......just need to figure out the ways to do so, and price points.

More information to follow.

We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers....whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do....by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, I'm also the first stop when traveling from East Coast to West Coast. If you came from Janet's blog then you are in the right place!

For both my cards I decided I wanted to keep them simple so that I could then personalize them as I need them.  I used the PML cards left over from the Gimme Some Sugar workshop, added some coordinating cardstock for mats, Juniper and Peacock.  Next I used April's SOTM and the sentiment Celebrate, stamping it in Peacock ink.  Now I have 2 cards ready that I can use for multiple types of celebrations; Birthday, Anniversary, Engagement, Birth....so many reasons that we can celebrate.

What are you celebrating?

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is Dominique
If you get lost along the way, you can head to Michelle S Blog,

For my project I decided to pull some paper from the Adventure Fundamental collection.  I used this floral print in Raspberry, and stamped the Celebrate in the same ink color.  The mat for the banner is a a Lagoon watercolor pattern from the same collection.  I then used the stamp set Beautiful You for the flowers, stamping them in 2nd generation, for the first 2 layers, and the final layer in 1st generation.  I used the silver shimmer trim for my accent and some doodling to finish off the card.

Now "Hop" on over to Melinda Everitt's blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, the Aprir SOTM is only available until April 31st!  Contact your CTMH Consultant (or click here) to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount!
