June SOTM Blog Hop - Kaboom

Hey there, Michelle here with some fabulous creations using June's SOTM - Kaboom.  This stamp set has 16 super cute stamps with many of the stamps coordinating with images found on the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.  This stamp set can be yours for only $5 when you submit a $50 qualifying order with your consultant.

We have over 50 consultants with their fantastic creations to inspire you, and this hop is circular so if you are starting with me then you can just continue along until you come back to me (that is how you will know you are done), but if you came here from the amazing work of Fancy Melissa then you are in the right place.

If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete blog hop list here.

So I had lots of fun stamping and cutting out the fireworks from this stamp set.

Your next stop on our blog hop is Tamytha at Paper Heartist.

To purchase any of the supplies used to create this and other projects featured in the blog hop, contact your local consultant or you can shop with me.

Bee Happy with AHSC #57

I had so much fun creating my card for this week's sketch challenge. I used the Free To Be Me paper package which is May's Promotion for National Scrapbooking Month.  This paper is just so versatile, with textured/embossed cardstock, double sided patterned paper and 2 sheets of velum.

Here is this week's sketch:
I altered the sketch just a little bit to fit my card based on the stamp set that I chose to use.  I used Happy Hive a stamp from Jeanette's Archived Collection.

Now, I hope while you are sitting back enjoying your coffee, you will also head over to our Sketch Challenge Blog, and check out the rest of the Design Team's creations.

Fun floral card for AHSC #56

I can't seem to find the card that I had made for this week's sketch.  I made it a almost 2 weeks ago, and just can't seem to place it.  So here I am struggling to make another card that works for the sketch that doesn't have me digging out a ton of supplies.

Here is the sketch:

Here is my card:

I like this card, it is totally different than my first creation. I used the quartrefoil embossing folder, and then used pieces from I had laying around to create this card.  The stamped flowers are ones I created for some of my Easter cards, and the the same with the stamped vine.  The Sentiment is from a Zip Strip.

Now I hope you have time to hop over to Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge, as our Design Team has some fantastic creations to share with you.

Cross Canada Blog Hop - Home Decor at its Finest (May)

Welcome to our May Blog Hop featuring home decor creations.  To purchase any of the items seen in our blog hop today, contact your local consultant to place an order.

We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers....whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do....by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, but if you are coming from Lynette's Blog then you are in the right place.

I made two projects, as I was just having so much fun creating.  They are both frames, my first is My Creations Pennant Frame, and the exact cut I need to cover the frame is found on the Artbooking cartridge.  How awesome is that?  I used the Promotional paper package "Free To Be Me" to decorate it.  I love this paper.

I also used other cuts from the Artbooking cartridge for the Sweet Smiles.  I hope you like this frame, I know I'm really happy with how it turned out.  I added Liquid Glass on both the Sweet and Smiles, and right before the adhesive was dry on the Smiles, I pressed a piece of scrap CS ontop and then pulled it off to give it some texture....(I'll try to get a better picture in the morning).

My second project is also a frame, but one that I bought at Michaels.  I used the Balloon Ride Paper Package to cover this and the Stamp set Give a Lift to create this frame.  I also cut the Baby Boy from the Artbooking cartridge.  Cutting it several times and then layering them directly ontop of one another to create my own dimensional element.  I also added some color to the layers of Liquid Glass to really make the words pop.

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is Stephanie's Scrappin' Corner.
If you get lost along the way, you can head here.

Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to get creative using some of the designs, products and techniques seen along the way. We hope you will join us again next month when we will be featuring Fancy Fold Cards  So mark June 15th on your calendars and hop along with us.

Love is all you need AHSC #55

Wow, we finally had some beautiful weather, and I had so much fun being creative over the weekend. My husband is so super supportive and so fabulous.  On Saturday I was working a vendor event and at the end of the event I went out to the van and found a single white rose waiting for me on the seat. Then when I got home and was unpacking he arrived home with the kids in tow and a dozen red roses for me.
Sunday started off just as great. My oldest daughter brought me breakfast in bed, and I got to hang out in my pj's as long as I wanted and got to spend the day crafting and making cards.  What could be better.
Here is the sketch for AHSC #55:

Here is one of the cards I created:

I hope you will now hope on over to Atlantic Hearts and see what creations our design team has come up with.
