Watercolor Blog Hop

Welcome to our Blog Hop featuring Watercolors!

We will be featuring creations using either our watercolor paints or watercolor pencils.  If you have come here from Melinda's Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog

This month we have approximately 30 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this watercolors and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

First I started with layering different shades of watercolor paints onto our watercolor paper.  I let them dry before stamping my image onto the paint. While I waited for the paint to dry I grabbed the Damask Embossing folder, and the circle Diffuser and ran a piece of White Dairy Cardstock through my cuttlebug.  I inked up the raised impressions with Poppy ink, and stamped the sentiment in the center with Black Ink.  The flowers and sentiment is from Blooming Expressions stamp set.

Now "Hop" on over to Catherine's Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas!   Contact your CTMH Consultant (or contact me) to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount!

  1. I actually had to enlarge your image to take a better look at it because it looks so perfect that it is hard to see that it is actually watercolored and not stamped! Wow - that's great work!
