Birthdays

Today is my husbands 37th birthday.  My daughter decided since mommy is making cards, she wanted to as well, so with some guidance and a little help from mommy, she made this Super card for her daddy.

We used Fanfare paper, and the Super Powers Stamp set, as well as the Happy Birthday folder with the Cuttleug.

Then mommy had to make a card for daddy too.  I also used the Fanfare paper to create my card.

Then while I was in my creative mode, I dug out the card box and decided I would cover it and make an 8 card matching set.  I covered it in Sophia paper, and used a few Stickease embellishments to finish it off, and the edges I then distressed with Blush Ink to camouflage the box.

I really like how my first card box turned out, the inserts are not glued to the bottom so that once all the cards are used, the recipient has the option to remove them, and use the box for whatever they choose.  Below you will find the matching cards.  I made a total of 8, 2 of each design.

The Sophia paper is not available anymore, but we do have some super cute new paper packets that would make equally awesome cards.  To check out the new paper packets, check out the products here!  If you want to place an order you can do so online at the same location, or you can host a gathering which will earn you FREE product.

Pemberley

Well I had my creative juices flowing yesterday and I made a few more 3x3 cards.  To make these I used Desert Sand cardstock and cut the card bases using the Art Philosophy cartridge.  Then using the Pemberley paper I cut the flower shapes using the cartridge too.  Next you layer them and fold in the petals, then I added a little bling using the clear sparkles.

Still working wtih Pemberley, I then switched over to the stamp set that comes in the workshop and using Outdoor Denim Ink, stamped the sentiment "I love You".

This next card I used the back side of the paper from the previous card, (I just love the B&T Duos, such versatility.) and cut a different design flower from the cartridge.  Using the Outdoor Denim Ink I stamped the sentiments "love, joy, hope, & Fun" from the Celerbration Stamp set that accompanied the Art Philosophy cartridge.

The final card is also using the Pemberley workshop stamp set.  I firstly double stamped teh flower using Outdoor Denim Ink, and then trimmed it out, using the Olive Ink, I stamped the leaves, and added the detail in Garden Green, and trimmed them out and adhered them to the card.  Still using the Pemberley stamp set, I chose the sentiment "Grateful for you" and also used the Outdoor Denim Ink.

I hope you enjoyed my cards, and I hope you get some inspiration from my creations.

Friendship Bouquet

I've been creating again, and here is my newest creations using the Friendship Bouquet Stamp set from May's Stamp of the Month.

Both cards were cut 3"*3" using the Art Philosophy Cartridge.  The first card I stamped on scrap cardstock, and then using my microtip scissors trimed around it, I then used my blending pen, and using both Honey and Buttercup Ink, colored in the sunflower.  The leaves were stamped in Garden Green and New England Ivy.  The sentiment is also from the Friendship Bouquet, and is stamped in Outdoor Denim.

The second card is also stamped on scrap cardstock and then trimmed, but it was stamped multiple times, then layered.....the stem is the first layer, the yellow petals the second layer, the the brown center the third layer.
The colors used are Garden Green and New England Ivy, Honey, Buttercup, and Chocolate.  Again, I used the blending pen to smooth the colors out.
