Thank you… now on to our hop!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop and I'm the first stop when you are hopping from the East Coast to West Coast. If you came from Kristine Ponte's Blog then you are in the right place!

For my project I used the lovely Bluebird, Lagoon and Mint pattern from the Celebrate Today Paper collection.  I think this is my favorite pattern from this collection. I needed to make some sympathy cards, so I pulled the Angel Hugs stamp and Thin Cut set along with (sneak peak) Yesterday & Today Cardmaking stamp set that is coming in March to create these lovely cards.

The Angel is coloured with the Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers and is popped up using 3D Foam Tape.  She is mounted on a layer of White Daisy and Mint Cardstock.  The sentiment is from the Yesterday & Today set, and I added some doodling for effect.

Trio of Hearts for AHSC # 354

This week marks the 14th term that Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge has been running. The very 1st sketch was posted on April 29th, 2013.  We have had many amazing sketches over the years, and have some very talented design teams and participants creating with my sketches.

I've made it a priority to create for all my sketches, as the past year or so my schedule was extremely full, and I admit, I just didn't have the time for me.  I'm making changes, and crafting is a huge part of who I am, and I need to make more time for me.

This week's sketch was extremely fun, and I knew exactly which paper collection I would use. Here is Sketch # 354.

For my creation I used the Oh My Heart collection that is available from Close to My Heart until February 29th.  The sentiment is also from the stamp set that is part of this special promotion.  The center pieces is a trio of die cuts from the Heart Thin Cut set, and I've added stickles to the 2 larger hearts and the banner.

I hope you will take time to hop over to Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge, check out the artwork from the design team, and also play along.

For my project this month, I decided that I really wanted to focus on the image provided and make it the focal point.  So I stamped the image off the edges of the cardstock at all four corners.  I used the new Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers to color in the image.  The sentiment is from the SOTM, and is stamped in Black ink.  I added some loose Gold Sequins just to add some bling.

Marker colours:

Coral Blend, Pale Pink Blend, Citrus Blend, Dull Green Blend, Light Green Blend,Citrus Green Blend and Orange Blend, I also used the Blender Marker to pull extra color from the images.

Now "Hop" on over to Wendy Kessler's blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, the MONTH SOTM is only available until MONTH 30th!  Contact your CTMH Consultant (or click here) to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount!

Urban meets A True Classic

I teach card classes to a group of my customers and they are always wanting more masculine cards for the men in their lives.  I too need alot of masculine cards so I understand that they are wanting more.

Well a few catalogs back we had this fabulous masculine stamp set, A True Classic featuring this awesome vintage truck. My ladies requested that I create a whole class around this stamp set.  We concentrate on Christmas themed projects all fall, so it was on my to do for January 2020.

December promotion came out featuring a Bring Back my Pack collection, Urban.  What a great paper collection from the past, and I knew this would be the paper that I would pair up to create for my card class.
Urban Paper Packet (CC12192)

So I'm extremely excited to show off my cards for this week's upcoming card class.  Here is Urban meets A True Classic.

I pulled in some Bronze shimmer trim, some Rose Gold Sequins, added some splatter stamps and some doodling to complete the cards.  I hope you like my trio of cards, they are True Classics.

January Cross Canada Blog Hop - Spruced Up

Welcome to our January Blog Hop featuring artwork created using the Spruced Up collection. To purchase any of the items seen in our blog hop today, contact your local consultant to place an order.

We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers....whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do....by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop and I'm the first stop on the blog hop. If you came from the fabulous artwork of Valerie then you are in the right place!

For my project I decided to create a 2 page layout.  I love Julep and Sangria together.  This collection is so pretty.  I think I might need to hoard a few packages.  The stickers are available in the collection, or you can choose to purchase the paper without the stickers(not sure why you would choose that option).  I also pulled a few wooden embellishments and added some liquid glass to secure them to my project.  The stickers that overlap the photo placements actually still have the backing on the portion that overlaps.  This was a pretty simple layout to create.

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is Rosalynd and she always amazes me with her creations.

If you get lost along the way, you can come right back here to find the next link!
