Christmas Tree Ornaments

So when making my ornament for the blog hop I participated in on Saturday, I thought about other shapes that could possibly work too.  I chose a snowflake and a star.  I really like how they turned out, and I think I will make some to give as gifts this year.

I used the retired Dreamin' paper, and cut the star at 3 1/2" and the heart at 2 1/2", the snowflake was cut at 3".  Each ornament has 6 pieces folded in half and then glued using Liquid Glass.  The ribbon is some that I had on hand, and the pins used as just stick pins with the little pearl ontop.

I used the Art Philosophy cartridge, which is exclusive with Close to my Heart.  If you are interested in this cartridge or the NEW Artiste, you can purchase them from my website, buy cricut cartridges here!

If you like these ornaments, please leave a comment, and I would love for you to join my group of scrappers and friends.  Once I reach 100 in my group I plan on holding a Huge Blog Candy Contest!

Happy 84th Birthday Nannie Jean

Today we celebrated my husbands grandmother's birthday.  She is 84 years young today.  So I made a card from us, but my 8 year old likes to create cards too, and so I gave her some of my pieces that I had pre-cut and let her put it together herself.

Made by Jaymee Stewart

So this top card is my daughters creation, and this next one is what I came up with.

Why is it that you can never get everyone looking at the same time?

AP & Artiste Blog Hop

Welcome to CTMH AP & Artiste Blog Hop. We are a group of CTMH Cosultants who love paper crafting (well most of us) and will be show casing Our Amazing Creations from Art Philosophy & Artiste along they way.  If you are visiting from Debbie's blog then you are in the right place, if not, please go and start from the beginning at http://wwpaperkraftsunlimiteddesings.blogspot.com

My project, this heart ornament, is cut using the Art Philosophy Cartridge.  The heart is cut and 3 3/4.  There are 12 pieces, and they were then folded in half.  I then used some ribbon I had on hand and a corsage pin.  Using Liquid Glass I adhered each piece to the next until I had half a heart, then I glued in the pin, and then the rest of the folded hearts.  The paper used here is from the retired Dreamin' Paper Packet.  I just really liked the brown and blue paper together.

Thank you for visiting my blog and if you like this simple heart ornament and would like to purchase the Art Philosophy Cartridge or Artiste Cartridge you can shop now on my website, shop here!

Your next stop on this blog hop is Sandra.  Happy hopping.
