Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!
We will be featuring June's SOTM, which is Garden Tags, a set of 8 stamps. If you have come here from Melinda Everitt's blog you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.
This month we have approximately 21 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this June's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!
I couldn't decide what I wanted to make with this stamp set, or what technique I wanted to use, so I made a whole selection of tags. I did a black out technique, watercolour paints, ink on a versamat sprayed with water, ink blending, and colouring with markers and Shimmer Brushes, and paper piecing.
This first selection of tags were cut from Watercolour paper and paints in a rainbow of colours. I stamped the images after the paint was dry.
This set of tags was created using the ink blending technique and then splattering with water to add some distressing.
This final set shows the Dragonfly coloured in with Lagoon Shimmer Brush. The next one is coloured in using the Blackout Technique. The bottom left is just coloured in with the Spectrum Noir TriBlend Markers and the final tag is created by smearing ink onto my versamat and spraying with water, then I placed the tag onto of the ink to create the splotchy ink pattern.
