Welcome to our September Cross Canada Blog Hop! This month our project is the My Creations Bracket Frame. This product can be found on page 132 of the Current Idea Book, purchased exclusively through a Close to My Heart Independent Consultant for only $8.95.
In this hop, you will see how our Crafty Canadian Consultants have decorated their Bracket Frames! We hope you enjoy our blog hop today!
If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, but if you want to follow us across Canada then please start at the beginning and join Deanne in NewFoundland at http://deannestamps.blogspot.ca. If you came from Stephanie's blog of Stephanie's Creations then you are in the right place!
For my Bracket Frame, I used this pretty blue paper from the Pemberley Paper packet, it can be found on page 68 of the current Idea Book. I distressed the edges of the frame using Outdoor Denim Ink, by wiping the edges with a sponge. Using the swirl stamp from the Stamp Set Best Things, I stamped in the bottom corner also using the Outdoor Denim Ink. I then used the Pearl colored Opaques Adhesive Gems found on page 127 to add a little bling to the swirl.
For the flowers, I cut them from the Artiste Cartridge, there are 4 new 3D flowers to choose from. I cut them at 2 different sizes, 3" and 2 1/4". Using the guilling tool from page 134 I was able to roll the flowers tight. The colors used for the flowers are Outdoor Denim and Honey Cardstock. I distressed the Honey Cardstock with Outdoor Denim Ink just to tone it down a little. The matting is also using the corresponding cardstock.
Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is Suzette of Crop Paper Scissors.
