I wasn't sure if my product would arrive in time to create for this hop, so I created a project with the scraps that I had remaining from when we first had this collection.  The papers and colours have all been updated and are more vibrant.  I used Pattern #5 from the Volume 3 Make it From Your Heart how to book.  I added some stamping and some chipboard hearts I had left in my stash as well as the title.  I spattered Mint shimmer brush onto the base pages, and coloured the chipboard piece.  The tabs are cut from the Tags and Tabs Thin cut set.  The stamped hearts are done in Smoothie ink and they come from the Make a Splash Stamp set.

June Cross Canada Blog Hop - Stitched Together

Welcome to our June Blog Hop featuring artwork created using the Stitched Together collection. To purchase any of the items seen in our blog hop today, contact your local consultant to place an order.

We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers....whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do....by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, and I am the first stop when you are hopping from the East Coast to the West Coast of Canada. If you came from Janet's blog then you are in the right place!

These 2 cards are featuring some amazing products, some of my favourites.  The first card is using the Rectangle Thin Cuts which cut both a frame and a mat.  I am using the frame cut in Sapphire cardstock. I used the A Million Little Things stamp on the tag cut(retired).  I used the Light Green Blend and the Dark Red Blend in Spectrum Noir TriBlend markers to colour the rose.  The second card is using the Mason Jar Bouquet stamp set.  This is layered on a White Daisy subway tile texture, on Canary cardstock.    I also used the Dark Red and Light Green Blends along with the Citrus Blend marker to colour the flowers.

This layout is a recreation to the artwork featured in the catalog for Stitched Together.  I adapted it to work for me and eliminated features like tone on tone stamping and the stitching.  I opted for faux stitching along the edges of the White Daisy cardstock.

This month we have approximately 21 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this June's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

I couldn't decide what I wanted to make with this stamp set, or what technique I wanted to use, so I made a whole selection of tags.  I did a black out technique, watercolour paints, ink on a versamat sprayed with water, ink blending, and colouring with markers and Shimmer Brushes, and paper piecing.

For this card, I coloured with the Spectrum Noir TriBlend Markers and I cut out the flowers and leaves and paper pieced them onto the tag.  Then I adhered it to this card base with is Smoothie Cardstock cut on the large rectangle frame die cut, and the medium in the White Daisy.  Gold Gems were added along with the White & Gold Ribbon.

This first selection of tags were cut from Watercolour paper and paints in a rainbow of colours.  I stamped the images after the paint was dry.

This set of tags was created using the ink blending technique and then splattering with water to add some distressing.

This final set shows the Dragonfly coloured in with Lagoon Shimmer Brush. The next one is coloured in using the Blackout Technique. The bottom left is just coloured in with the Spectrum Noir TriBlend Markers and the final tag is created by smearing ink onto my versamat and spraying with water, then I placed the tag onto of the ink to create the splotchy ink pattern.
