This first card I masked the center of the card so that I only stamped the border with the bouquet that the girl is carrying.  All images for all 3 cards are coloured with the Spectrum Noir TriBlend markers.  I ended up smudging some ink from my fingers onto the card so I decided to layer the girl overtop the card base.

I was inspired by a card on pinterest that I had saved a few months ago, and I was so happy to be able to utilize the design here.

I just love how the look of this stamp set changes when you change the colours used.  I had a rectangle stitched mat left over from another project and I was excited that it fit this project.

Thank you… now on to our hop!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, and I am the first stop when you are hopping from the East Coast to the West Coast of Canada. If you came from Janet's blog then you are in the right place!

These 2 cards are featuring some amazing products, some of my favourites.  The first card is using the Rectangle Thin Cuts which cut both a frame and a mat.  I am using the frame cut in Sapphire cardstock. I used the A Million Little Things stamp on the tag cut(retired).  I used the Light Green Blend and the Dark Red Blend in Spectrum Noir TriBlend markers to colour the rose.  The second card is using the Mason Jar Bouquet stamp set.  This is layered on a White Daisy subway tile texture, on Canary cardstock.    I also used the Dark Red and Light Green Blends along with the Citrus Blend marker to colour the flowers.

This layout is a recreation to the artwork featured in the catalog for Stitched Together.  I adapted it to work for me and eliminated features like tone on tone stamping and the stitching.  I opted for faux stitching along the edges of the White Daisy cardstock.

I couldn't decide what I wanted to make with this stamp set, or what technique I wanted to use, so I made a whole selection of tags.  I did a black out technique, watercolour paints, ink on a versamat sprayed with water, ink blending, and colouring with markers and Shimmer Brushes, and paper piecing.

For this card, I coloured with the Spectrum Noir TriBlend Markers and I cut out the flowers and leaves and paper pieced them onto the tag.  Then I adhered it to this card base with is Smoothie Cardstock cut on the large rectangle frame die cut, and the medium in the White Daisy.  Gold Gems were added along with the White & Gold Ribbon.

This first selection of tags were cut from Watercolour paper and paints in a rainbow of colours.  I stamped the images after the paint was dry.

This set of tags was created using the ink blending technique and then splattering with water to add some distressing.

This final set shows the Dragonfly coloured in with Lagoon Shimmer Brush. The next one is coloured in using the Blackout Technique. The bottom left is just coloured in with the Spectrum Noir TriBlend Markers and the final tag is created by smearing ink onto my versamat and spraying with water, then I placed the tag onto of the ink to create the splotchy ink pattern.

I had so much fun colouring and then fussy cutting the all the different images on this set.  I used a large variety of colours when colouring these images both from the Shinhan collection(retired) and the Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend collection.

The top image here is my version of a fish tank, and I've included the sign, sand castle and treasure chest.  I added Gold Stickles to the chest to make it appear as real gold, the water bubbles are stamped in Carolina Ink and then the whole water area is sponged with the same colour.  I then used the Clear Shimmer Brush and coloured in the bubbles as well as flicked the brush onto the paper.  The sand is stamped and sponged in Toffee Ink.

The second card I didn't want it to be as busy so I used the fishbowl and added some twine(retired) from my stash.  The fishbowl is popped up from the card using 3D foam tape and the same coloured were used to sponge the water and sand.  The mat for the card is Crystal Blue cardstock which I sanded all the edges to give it a distressed look. The pattern paper is from Seas the Day collection.

I really fell in love with the Fairy Tale Stamp and Thin Cut set and loved the sample artwork from the catalog and decided to recreate it.  I decided that I would use the new Spectrum Noir Tri-Blends.  I added a strip of silver glitter paper under the sentiment, and added silver Stickles to the stars.  The cardstock mats are Pixie and Smoothie, and the flowers are stamped in Smoothie, the leaves in Sweet Leaf, and the sparkle on her wand in Saffron.

For my project this month, I decided that I really wanted to focus on the image provided and make it the focal point.  So I stamped the image off the edges of the cardstock at all four corners.  I used the new Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers to color in the image.  The sentiment is from the SOTM, and is stamped in Black ink.  I added some loose Gold Sequins just to add some bling.

Marker colours:

Coral Blend, Pale Pink Blend, Citrus Blend, Dull Green Blend, Light Green Blend,Citrus Green Blend and Orange Blend, I also used the Blender Marker to pull extra color from the images.
