You're Amazing - AHSC # 331

Wow, it's been a while since I've created artwork using my own sketches.....but here I am.  I've made a commitment to myself to find the time to create for me and I'm so happy to say I'm back.

My artwork today is using the Craft On Paper collection as well as August Stamp of the Month from Close to My Heart.

Here is the Sketch for this week, and you can find the link up here:

Thanks for stopping by, and if you haven't seen the designs created by the AHSC Design Team you can head over by clicking here.

August Cross Canada Blog Hop - Craft On

Welcome to our August Blog Hop featuring artwork created using the Craft On collection. To purchase any of the items seen in our blog hop today, contact your local consultant to place an order.

We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers....whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do....by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop and I am the first stop when you are hopping from the East Coast to the West Coast. If you came from Kristine's Blog then you are in the right place!

For my project I choose to create a layout using Craft On.  I wanted to highlight the colour in in the photo and pulling the Raspberry was a perfect match.  I used the Stitched Flower Thin Cuts for embellishment, and used up some left over letters in my stash as well as the Alphabet Thin Cuts to create my title. The scallop is the reverse of the backgroung paper, and the black and white plaid is the zipstrip from the same page.  The Pink tone on tone with hearts is also from the Craft On collection.  I pulled that colour to create the flowers as well as Lemon Cardstock which is also used to mat the photo.

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is Sheena.

If you get lost along the way, you can come right back here, I've provided the full hop list:

Michelle  You Are Here!

Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to get creative using some of the designs, products and techniques seen along the way. We hope you will join us again next month when we will be featuring artwork using Every Little Thing collection. So mark September 10th on your calendars and hop along with us.

This month we have approximately 14 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

This first card was made using the True Love collection.  I had a few pieces left of the cut apart sheet, and it looked really fancy, so I trimmed along the lace and used that as a decorative piece. The sentiment is stamped in Sapphire Ink and is also a piece from the cut apart sheet.  The flower is from the Stitched Flower Thin Cut, and the colours are Sugarplum and Fern.  The flower and sentiment is popped using 3D Foam Tape.  I also added some Rose Gold Sequins.

For the second card I created I dug into some scraps from Sweet Girl, I used the Border Thin Cuts(sold out sorry), to create the grass, it is a fringe cut.  Totally awesome right.  Again, I used the cut apart sheet, that is where you will find this awesome hedgehog.  The sentiment is stamped in Black ink, and I doodled using the journalling pen.  Again I added some Rose Gold sequins.

Now "Hop" on over to Wendy's Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, the MONTH SOTM is only available until MONTH 30th!  Contact your CTMH Consultant (or click here) to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount!
