Debuting my Sugar Rush 1 Sheet Wonder Workshop

So I've been contemplating this for quite some time now, and finally sat down and decided to bite the bullet and jump to it.

My workshop is based on being able to teach my customers how to create the maximum amount of cards from a single sheet of 12 x 12 pattern paper.

My workshop will create 20 cards with 5 different designs.  For my first workshop I used the first pattern from the Sugar Rush collection.  These cards are all a birthday theme and the reason I did a theme here is the paper just screams birthday, and with 3 kids, there is always a birthday party for them to attend.

Now lets take a look at each one of the cards.

Card 4 was inspired by a creation I seen by Vicki Wizniuk, with a twist and my own added touches, it is a completely new design.

Stay tuned, something wonderful is coming........

Hello everyone, sorry I've been sort of missing in action the past few months.....I know I've still been participating in the monthly blog hops, but I've been working on a project.

Now, if you are asking what this project of mine could be, well I won't keep you in suspense.  I've been designing a new workshop for my some of my cardmaking customers.  I'd like to introduce you to my 1 Sheet Wonder 20 Card Workshop.

This particular workshop uses only 1 sheet of pattern paper, 2 sheets of White Daisy Cardstock, and not quite 2 sheets of coordinating cardstock plus embellishments.

You will get to create 20 cards total, of 5 designs, with 4 cards of each of those designs.  Files are almost complete, and I'm offering 2 dates for classes for this first workshop, March 10th and March 11th.  The March 11th date is filled up but I still have room for the March 10th date.

Come back tomorrow to see the cards that will be created at these workshops.

If you are a consultant, there will be an option to buy the files to offer to your own customers.

Thank you… now on to our hop!
If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular
hop and I am the first stop when hopping East to West across Canada.  If you have come from Corinna's Blog you are in the right place! We have lots of different options when creating flowers and succulents.  Art Philosophy has 6 quilled flowers to choose from and that is what I choose to focus on.

I need to retake the photo, apparently it is really blurred.(03/03/17)

For my flowers I used a quilling tool to roll them and liquid glass to adhere them together.

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is Caroline of Caroline's Creations.

If you get lost along the way, you can come back here, as I've provided you with the full list of hoppers.

February SOTM Blog Hop - Easter Bunny

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

We will be featuring February's SOTM, which is Easter Bunny, a set of 12 stamps.  If you have come here from Wendy's Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog

This month we have approximately 18 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

I wanted to keep my card simple so that it would be easy to remake, as I plan on using this for an upcoming card class.  I started by stamping a whole sheet of the bunnies to color.

I really like to color, it is very relaxing.  So after getting my bunnies all colored, I fussy cut them all out.  Then I choose a paper collection to work with, I chose Hello Lovely, and decided to use Sorbet cardstock and the quatrefoil embossing folder.  I layered a piece of Hello Lovely on the botton, and used some gold shimmer trim.  I had some ovals that I had cut from a friends die cuts left over and thought it fit perfect. Stamped the sentiment and popped the oval onto the card using Foam Tape.  I also popped the bunny and if you look closely, you will see a slight shadow on the left side.

Now "Hop" on over to Cat's Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, the <month> SOTM is only available until <last day of the month>!  Contact your CTMH Consultant (or click here) to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount!

AHSC #197 Passover Card

So, my life is a bit less hectic, and over the weekend I found some time to be crafty.  I have been asked to create a Passover style card.  Pinterest did not help me at all.  I really didn't have any clue as to what to create.

Well, I pulled the sketch for my sketch challenge blog and started with that and added from there.

Image may contain: text

So, I decided I was going to create using the shape and not the elements.  I started with and embossing folder, then added my stamping using silver embossing powder and my heat gun.  Both the image and sentiment is heat embossed.  Finally to finish my card, I added some Shimmer with the new Shimmer Brush.
