Now Available Making Waves 1 Sheet Wonder 20 Card Workshop

I'm so very excited to be announcing the release of my Making Waves 1 Sheet Wonder 20 Card Workshop.

This workshop is different from my other workshops as I am only using 1 Stamp Set, the February SOTM, Sunny Thoughts.  I really loved the simplicity of this stamp set, and thought it paired very well with the Making Waves collection.

I decided to keep the designs very simple so that you could switch out the stamps and replace with other stamps easily.

What I love about this workshop is that there are 5 designs, with 4 of each card being created.  That means that you as a consultant can teach this workshop in a number of ways.  You can have 1 cutting guide per person, so they would create 20 cards.  You could have it for 2 people, they would each create 10 cards, 2 of each design, or you could teach it to 4 people, creating 1 of each design.

It's really up to you.  Now lets have a closer look at each card.

For my project I decided to make a card for Mother's Day, and I used the Bonne Fete des Meres(A1216) which is found in the International Section.  I used a pattern from the Gimme Some Sugar collection, and colored the image using GY234 Leaf Green, and RP198 Tender Pink ShinHan Markers. I added a mat under the image in Heather, and some Whisper Twine.

Here is a close up of the image, I used the Colorless Blender Marker to soften the colors. The image is stamped using Memento Black Ink....I use this because I find that I get less bleeding than when I use the Archival Black Ink.

The project I was going to originally show is no longer available due to a cat incident. So I quickly got my craft supplies out and used some scraps I had to create this card. I really love the Chelsea Gardens Collection, so I pulled out some pretty pattern paper and the cardmaking stamp set and quickly pulled this card together. I used the watercolor paints and waterbrush to add color to the images.  I felt that they still needed something so I added some shimmer using the clear Shimmer Brush.

I've decided to welcome in 2018, but continuing to create, and inspire others to be creative.

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is Colleen.

If you get lost along the way, you can come on back here, I've provided a complete list of our hoppers:

Chelsea Gardens 1 Sheet Wonder 20 Card Workshop is now Available

I am just in love with this new spring collection.  Chelsea Gardens is a soft feminine paper collection, and it is making me wish that winter was over and spring was here.

I really had a fun time creating with this pattern and the stamps.  I decided to use the ShinHan Markers to add color to the images, but any medium can be used.

My workshop is designed to be used to teach your customers new techniques at a minimal cost.  If you are like me, you have customers who might not purchase a lot of product, but they love creating and going home with finished projects.

Introducing Chelsea Gardens:

There are 5 designs and if you use the complete cutting guide per person they can create 20 cards, but because of how the guide is designed, you can teach 4 people, 2 people or 1 person per cutting guide.

Now, let's take a look at each card.

Chelsea Garden Workshop Coming Soon!

I am so loving the New Seasonal Inspirations Catalog.  The Chelsea Gardens collection is simply stunning.  So much so, that I ordered it straight away, but alas, I fell down a flight of steps and injured myself.  Needless to say, I was disappointed when the box of new supplies came and I was unable to create with them.  I am now able to create, and I am so happy to say that the digital files are almost ready for the newest 1 Sheet Wonder 20 Card Workshop.

Stay tuned for it's release later in the week.

This month we have approximately 21 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

For my project I wanted to go with the theme of the stamp set, seeds!  So I went on the hunt for some flower seeds.  Then I had to decide on colors.  I wanted to keep it soft, springtime!  I used our color of the year Bashful.

I used the rose embossing folder with the Bashful cardstock and then went over the embossed image with the gold shimmer brush.  I stamped the image in Black ink, and the sentiment and heart in Bashful. For the heart, I stamped the image 3 times to get a deeped color, and is raised using a glue dot.

I used glue dots to secure the package of seeds to the White Daisy cardstock, and then used the Blush Shimmer Ribbon for my tab to pull out the seed package.  To create the notch at the top of the envelope, I used the 1" circle punch and only used half a circle, creating the notch.

Now "Hop" on over to Melinda's blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas!
