For my project I pulled Sapphire, Eggplant and Sugarplum from the colour pallet.  The Card base is Sapphire, and I matted the sentiment with Sugarplum.  I stamped the sentiment using Eggplant.  The sentiment is from this month's Stamp of the Month, To My Bestie.  To finish off the card, I added some loose Gold sequins applied with glue dots.

June SOTM Blog Hop - It's Your Day to Sparkle

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

We will be featuring June's SOTM, which is called It's Your Day to Sparkle, a set of 39 stamps.  If you have come here from Jen Rubio's blog, you are on the right path! This month we have approximately 19 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

I just had so much fun with this stamp set, that I created 4 cards and then couldn't choose which to share, so here are all four.  Which is your favourite?

This one I embellished with the White & Gold Skinny Ribbon (Z4194). The cake is popped off the mat using 3D Foam Tape.  I also used the Clear Shimmer Brush all over this cake as well as the one with the Canary Roses.  The Roses and leaves were coloured with the Sugarplum and Mint Shimmer Brushes. The sentiment is stamped in Sapphire ink on Sugarplum cardstock.

For this card, the roses are colored with Eggplant ink and the leaves with Sage ink.  I added some Sapphire sequins from the Crafty Loose Sequins (Z4059).

This card I used the new Doily Thin Cut (Z4063) and layered it behind the cake.  The roses are coloured with Sugarplum ink, the leaves with Sage ink, and the sequins are from the Crafty loose seguines.

This card I used the Lace Border Thin Cut (Z4060) for added detail, and the roses are coloured with Canary ink, the leaves with Sage.  I also coloured the layers of the cake with Sugarplum ink.  All the cake stands are coloured with the Grey watercolor pencil and blended with the medium waterbrush.  I added the clear shimmer brush over the entire cake, and below you can see a close up of the shimmer, but it's not easy to see.
