Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!
We will be featuring October's SOTM, With All My Love, a set of 16 stamps. If you have come here from Wendy Kessler's Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.
This month we have approximately 19 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!
For this 1st card I started with Raspberry cardstock and stamped an image along the right edge, then tore the cardstock. I flipped the one side showing the darker shade of Raspberry. The sentiment is stamped on the 2nd largest of the Stitched Circle Thin Cuts and popped up with 3D foam tape, and I added some silver Embellishing Thread for an accent. The flower is fussy cut out and coloured using the Alpine Green Blend and the Pale Pink Shades Spectrum Noir markers. I finished off the card by adding some White Dots.
For this 2nd card I started by random stamping in Versamark and using clear embossing powder. Next I pulled the Rare Minerals Metallic Markers from Spectrum Noir. They really show on black cardstock. I outlined the banner in the Blue marker.
This final card is also heat embossed and then instead of applying the metallic directly to the cardstock, I used a waterpaint technique using the waterbrush and applying the ink from the markers like paint. I then took White Dots and coloured those using the Metallic Markers, tip though, really let those dry because it takes much longer than the alcohol markers.
Always craft with <3
These are all beautiful - I really like the first card.
