Welcome to our Operation Smile Blog Hop!
We will be featuring the Operation Smile Stamp set, Every Bit of Wonderful, a set of 19 stamps. If you have come here from Wendy Kessler, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.
This month we have approximately 13 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!
This first card I started by heat embossing in White a random pattern using multiple stamps from the set. Next I did some ink smooshing using Abandoned Coral and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxides. I heat embossed the sentiment in White and inked over the sentiment in Abaondoned coral Distress Oxide Ink. I used the Stitched Simple Bracket for the sentiment and popped it using 3D foam tape.
For my second card, I stamped the sentiment first and heat embossed in White, than using the large flower I stamped and heat embossed again in White. Then using the Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Ink and the Blending Tool I sponged ink onto the cardstock. This technique is called ink resist. Finally just to give it some flare, I splattered Clear Shimmer Brush all over the front of the card.
