Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!
We will be featuring September's SOTM, which is titled Grateful For This Life, a set of 16 stamps. If you have come here from CatSCrapbooking, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.
This month we have approximately 13 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!
For my project this month I decided to create a slimline card using Paprika CS for my mat and then I created my own background paper using Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide Inks. Before I inked up I heat embossed Grateful in Clear Embossing Powder for a emboss resist technique. After I inked up the white CS I just wasn't happy with the embossing, so I embossed the word using White embossing powder. This really raised the sentiment up much more and I like the effect. For You is stamped in Black ink and then I doodled along the edges. For a finishing touch I grabbed the new Autumn Sequins for my embellishments.
