Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!
We will be featuring January's SOTM, Card Captions, a set of 26 stamps. If you have come here from Wendy Kessler's blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.
As soon as I seen this stamp set I had oodles of ideas pop into my head. I started with the colors, Charcoal, Sugarplum, and Fern. I loved the flowers in the paper collection Feels Like Home, and love that it has no color, so I was able to make it any color I decided on. For this card, I decided to use the Sugarplum Shimmer Brush to color the flower, followed by the Fern Ink pad and watercolor brush. The sentiment is stamped in Charcoal and matted on Charcoal cardstock.....to finish the card off I doodled and added some Pearls from my stash. The flowers were fussy cut from the Feels Like Home paper.
