So over the weekend I sat down to create a workshop designed by a fellow consultant, even though I wasn't feeling my best.  Bad idea....what happened you might ask?  Well I cut all of the paper wrong.  Have any of you done that?  Well I didn't let that deter me, I used her guide to keep me moving but put my own twist on all the layouts.  Here are 3 different layouts that I was able to salvage to the point that they look pretty darn good.  Wrong paper, but if I didn't tell you all of that, you probably would of never of known I messed up.  LOL!

This next layout, I cut the patterns so that they were in the wrong direction, so another improvise had to occur. Bam, a totally different look.  It really was comical.

Can you guess what happened here?  Yup, patterns running in the wrong direction and another improvise to the design.  Either way, I love how all 3 turned out!

I hope you got a bit of a chuckle out of my cutting errors, as at the time I didn't think it was funny at all....but seeing how I actually love how my mistakes turned out, I'm digging it.

Now "Hop" on over to Melissa Robinson's Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Thank you… now on to our hop!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, I also happen to be the first stop when you are hopping from the East Coast to the West Coast. If you came from Kristine Ponte's blog then you are in the right place!

I have been playing with many stamp sets with the Summer Vibes collection.  Here I've used the Summer Vibes stamp and Thin cut set and coloured the fish with Mint and Lagoon Shimmer Brushes.  I added Cool Mint Stickles to the bubbles, looks so cool in person.  The Gnome card is popped with 3D foam tape to create that layered look.  Finally I used A Koala-ty Day set for the final card.

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is Colleen Dewis.
If you get lost along the way, you can come back here to the list:

This first card I masked the center of the card so that I only stamped the border with the bouquet that the girl is carrying.  All images for all 3 cards are coloured with the Spectrum Noir TriBlend markers.  I ended up smudging some ink from my fingers onto the card so I decided to layer the girl overtop the card base.

I was inspired by a card on pinterest that I had saved a few months ago, and I was so happy to be able to utilize the design here.

I just love how the look of this stamp set changes when you change the colours used.  I had a rectangle stitched mat left over from another project and I was excited that it fit this project.
