Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!
We will be featuring February's SOTM, which is Heartfelt Sentiments, a set of 9 stamps. If you have come here from Cat's blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog.
This month we have approximately 22 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using thisFebruary's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!
For my project I wanted to keep it simple, so I used the new watercolor pencils, and I really love how smoothly they color images, and the blend together seamlessly. To blend the colors I used the clear Shimmer Brush because I wanted that shimmer on the card. The image is a bit larger than an A2 card, so I decided to create a frame for the image using the new Rectangle Thin Cuts. The final touches were adding some clear gems. The frame is cut from the pink stripe paper in the Something Fierce collection.
Here is a close up to see the shimmer on the banner and the flowers. You can also see the tones of color in the banner and on the large pink flowers.
