For my project I wanted to keep it simple, so I used the new watercolor pencils, and I really love how smoothly they color images, and the blend together seamlessly.  To blend the colors I used the clear Shimmer Brush because I wanted that shimmer on the card.  The image is a bit larger than an A2 card, so I decided to create a frame for the image using the new Rectangle Thin Cuts.  The final touches were adding some clear gems.  The frame is cut from the pink stripe paper in the Something Fierce collection.

Here is a close up to see the shimmer on the banner and the flowers.  You can also see the tones of color in the banner and on the large pink flowers.

This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

I created 2 cards using some leftovers from the Heart Happy Workshop.  I really like that there is so much left for us to create with after the layouts, cards and tags.  I decided that I wanted to keep it simple.  For the card on the left I used the sentiment from the cut apart paper. I cut the words apart and added them to a mat that I had cut using the new Stitched Rectangle Thin Cuts.  What is great about these dies is that it cuts the frame and the mat with stitching for both pieces all at the same time.  I used the frame piece in Sapphire for both the frame for the card and the mat.  To add some more detail I stamped the Hearts from the coordinating stamp set in Ballerina and Raspberry.

The second card is using the sapphire mat from the card on the left. I then layered the grid paper ontop of the stitched mat, stamped the sentiment in Sapphire, and the arrow is stamped in Raspberry.

Now "Hop" on over to Lauren Moore to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! For my project, I choose to recreate the card found on page 34 using the Something Fierce paper collection and the cardmaking stamp set.  I used Bluebird and Raspberry Ink. The swirls are in 2nd generation and I used the coordinating complements(heart and stars).  Love how quick this came together and now I can showcase the card from the catalog at my viewing parties.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop and lucky for you, I am the first stop this month so you can start right here. If you came from Candra's Blog then you are in the right place!

For my project I decided to create the layout from page 35 using the Something Fierce paper and scrapbooking stamp set.  I used multiple patterns from this collection, and cut some pieces from the Cut-apart sheet.  I didn't create it exactly as featured in the catalog, but like how it came together.  We will be visiting Universal Studios in Florida next September, and will use photos from Jurassic World to finish this layout.  Figure I'll work ahead since I have the perfect paper to plan for those layouts.  LOL.
